Bioimaging and data analysis solutions

Our Services

We have established a fully staffed, high-end mesoscopic imaging facility.
Delivering a full-service workflow: from sample clearing to 3D imaging and analysis.

Mouse whole-brain imaging service

We prepare mouse-brain samples through processes including tissue clearing and sectioning, then perform VISoR 3D fluorescence imaging (National Science Review, 2019). Deliverables include reconstructed, micrometer-resolution 3D imaging data and our proprietary viewing software for convenient access to terabyte-scale datasets (Video).

c-Fos counting analysis service

Our whole-brain cell-detection and c-Fos quantification service measures neuronal activation for studies of neural activity, learning and memory, emotion, pain, drug effects, and more. As an immediate early gene, c-Fos is widely used as a marker of neuronal activation.
High-resolution 3D fluorescence imaging and automated detection algorithms identify c-Fos-positive cells (National Science Review, 2024), quantify their spatial distribution, and register the results to standard brain atlases for in-depth analysis of neural-circuit activity patterns (Video).

Mouse whole-body 3D imaging and visualization service

Our whole-body imaging service combines the innovative ARCHmap workflow with the blockface-VISoR system (Cell, 2025) to provide system-level 3D imaging of whole-body tissue at subcellular resolution. Efficient clearing and imaging reveal whole-body neural networks, organ structures, and their complex interactions in mice (Video).

Core technology

Whole-Brain Tissue Clearing

Our CLARITY-based clearing method reduces light scattering in brain slices, enabling uniform, high-quality 3D imaging through tissue up to 300 μm thick and revealing fine internal structures.

VISoR high-throughput 3D imaging

Using the VISoR high-throughput technology developed by Prof. Bi's team, we can image an entire mouse brain at a voxel size of 1 × 1 × 2.5 μm3 in just 30 minutes.

Large-Scale Image Analysis

Using high-performance clusters and custom algorithms, we achieve storage, management, and analysis of large image data, including stitching, 3D reconstruction, registration, and neuronal reconstruction.

VISoR imaging

Ultrafast, high-resolution imaging
VISoR combines submicron resolution with high imaging speed, providing an efficient tool for large-scale biological research.

Rapid, size-flexible sample preparation
VISoR requires relatively little sample-preparation time and can accommodate a wide range of sample sizes, simplifying experimental workflows (Nature Biotechnology, 2021; Nature Methods, 2025).

Integrity. Quality. Speed. We handle the details so you can focus on the science—
